21 Year Old Sunday Adeyemi Jailed For Stealing Food Items In Abeokuta, Ogun State.

One Sunday Adeyemi, 21, was convicted to one month in jail for stealing food products, valued at N19,000, by a court of Abeokuta Magistrates in Ogun on Friday.

One Odubiyi Arike belonged to the food products. Magistrate Temitope Obasanjo discovered Adeyemi guilty of break-in and stealing charges on two counts.

Obasanjo held that his case had been proven beyond reasonable doubt by the prosecution, hence the conviction of Adeyemi.

But she gave the convict an N20, 000 fine choice.

The prosecutor earlier, Insp. Idowu Ogunleye informed the tribunal that on March 19 at approximately 9 p.m. the Adeyemi committed the offense. At the Abeokuta group of Ita Eko.

Ogunleye told court that, valued at N19, 000, Adeyemi broke through the window into the complainant’s store and stole food products. She said the offense contravened Ogun State’s Criminal Code Laws, 2006, sections 383 and 390(9).
