Akpabio Speaks On Dumping APC, Returning To PDP.
All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain and former Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, reacted to reporting that he was planning to defect back to the PDP.
Akpabio, who was a former Governor of Akwa Ibom, had last year announced his resignation as Minority Leader of the Red Chamber and defected to the ruling APC.

There were speculations, however, that the legislator planned to return to the PDP. The lawmaker insisted in reacting to the report that he was comfortable in the ruling party’s fold. Speaking to the nation, Akpabio also said that he does not bear grudge or bitterness against those who betrayed him politically.
“People don’t understand the ups and downs of life. Life isn’t a line straight. “If it’s a straight line, you’re dead. Even if you have a temporary setback, it shouldn’t cause you to hate anyone or exude bitterness. “I can’t return to the PDP. Why do you listen to the rumor? Why am I going to go back to the PDP when I get embedded in the APC? “I’m excited about the president winning the country-wide election,” said Akpabio.
